Event
Pentaho Day, the biggest community event in Brazil - and one of the biggest in the world, rivaling even with Europe's PCM - took place last week in the University of São Paulo.

One word - amazing. Brazilian community is an extremely vibrant one.
For the first time, we had a 2 day event. First day was a more classic one, with lots of presentations, use cases and round table discussions. Networking was, as ever, one of the most important factors.

Day two had a different format. On smaller rooms that couldn't fit everyone interested, the event was divided in different sections: Presentations and Labs. And the rooms were absolutely packed - specially on Matt's presentation; guess seeing the author of PDI giving a lab on PDI is kind'a cool. And I have to say the same for the Sparkl lab :)

Audience
The numbers for the event say a lot about it. We had, in the first day, 160 people (that we could count). The second day was packed, with a full 70 people there, but lots of users were left out. The event was also transmitted online, with about 1500 viewers!Acknowledgments
I'd like to thank USP - University of São Paulo - for organizing and hosting the event. Special thanks to Gisele Lopes for driving a flawless organization.
Next year
People are already talking about the event next year... Rio maybe? Belo Horizonte? Curitiba? I don't know... I just know that I'll be there!Cheers
